Optimizing your blog posts for search engines will improve your online visibility and help you get found by your ideal client organically.

There are several tools you can use for your keyword research, like Ubersuggest, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrushAnswer The Public is another great tool to find out what people are asking for on the internet.

Choose your Focus Keyphrase and find Related Keywords or Phrases

Pick a keyphrase with high search volume and low competition to use as your focus keyphrase. These are the keywords that are most likely to drive organic traffic to your blog.

Additionally, consider long-tail keywords, which are longer, more specific phrases that often have less competition and can be easier to rank for.

A simple method to find related long-tail keywords is to enter your chosen keyword in the Google search bar. It will show you other relevant searches around your topic in the drop-down and also further down the page under “People also ask”. This will give you suggestions on what else to include in your article based on what people are actively searching for.

It’s important that your promise accurately reflects your content otherwise users who click through will be disappointed and leave your website quickly, leading to a high bounce rate which negatively impacts your website’s ranking. 

To optimize your Meta Description include your keyword and keep it under 160 characters so it doesn’t get cut off in the search result.

The structure and formatting of your blog posts play a significant role in SEO. By organizing your content in a logical and reader-friendly way, you improve both user experience and search engine visibility.

Make sure you size your images correctly before you upload them to avoid slowing down your website.
